Emma putting on lotion

Emma learned at 15 months to put lotion on herself. It was very surprising and wonderful for us to see yet another advancement. She just grabbed the tube and started lathering herself.

At 16 months, Emma has learned to brush your hair and put clips in your hair. She also learned that Kleenex is for wiping your face, as she gently wiped my face yesterday. These are small simple things, but truly milestones when it comes to a little child who each day learns more and more. She is able to turn light switches on and off, and is saying more words like anana=banana, obo=globo(spanish for balloon), abol=arbol(spanish for tree) and dodo=lolo(french slang for milk)
