emma was keeping me company yesterday as I cooked dinner, (made rice) and I gave her some puffs to hold her over. I look over and I see her playing with her little mechanical pig that moves its mouth and sings "Old MacDonald". it was amazing to witness her little brain gears moving. I think it must have been the first time she noticed how his mouth opens and closes and she put her fingers in his mouth. She seemed surprised and pleased and paused for a moment. She then grabbed a puff and put one in his mouth. I thought she was just being silly but then i walk over I see that there are like 4 puffs in mouth. She is too cute. She kept doing it over and over and was having a great time feeding him.
